In 2004, Krista made her Carnegie Hall debut on a gala concert with Pacific Opera of New York; and she was awarded both first prize and the Galli-Campi Award for the most promising coloratura in the Connecticut Opera Theatre's 2005 Amici Vocal Competition. She has performed in a wide variety of venues, from concert halls to churches, schools to prisons, including the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Los Angeles, the Sears Center Arena in Chicago and the US Military Base at Fort Hood in Texas.

A versatile singer, Krista is comfortable singing various genres of vocal music, from gospel to opera, jazz to musical theatre.

A Classically trained soprano, Krista has been praised for her vast repertoire, which crosses a variety of musical genres, from gospel to opera, jazz to musical theatre, Gregorian Chant to contemporary pop.



She has performed nationally and internationally with such organizations as Cheju-do Opera, South Korea; Diamante Films International and DAMS, Bologna, Italy; Internationales Theater, Frankfurt, Germany; the Opera Theatre and Music Festival of Lucca, Italy; The Annapolis Chorale; The Delaware County Symphony Orchestra; The Young Victorian Theater; Garden State Opera; New York Chamber Players, NYC; Pacific Opera; Crystal Opera; Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra and Opera Birmingham.

 Once of Krista's greatest joys is creating, producing, arranging and performing original, multi-genre Pops-style concerts for gala events or concert series.  As a recitalist/concert soloist, Krista has sung all across the US, including touring for a year and a half as the vocal soloist with composer and concert pianist Eric Genuis.

 Another significant collaboration was a series of concert performances with Broadway entertainer Frank Mastrone over a period of several years.

 

Other work of note includes a regional commercial for Tower Generator (with her real life daughter, Isabella!), contributing to the soundtrack of the documentary Beyond These Walls and a solo CD of Sacred Classical music, Sacrae Notae.

[She was not an inmate.  She is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association and maintains an active calendar of concert and cabaret appearances.

International credits include Rigoletto (Gilda) in South Korea; The Singer (Ada) and Agrippina (Poppea) in Italy; and solo recitals/featured soloist concert appearances in Italy, Germany and Australia.

BIOGRAPHY

Hailed by the Baltimore Sun as “vocally spectacular”, Krista Adams Santilli has performed for international diplomats, royalty and Hollywood celebrities and has been seen on stages throughout the US and four continents, including Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, Sears Center Arena, Giants Stadium, the U.S.

Military Base at Fort Hood, and a maximum-security prison in Wisconsin.  Off-Broadway, Krista appeared as Luisa in Deloss Brown's play The Red and the Black and has given solo performances in venues throughout NYC, including a solo recital at Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall.
