In 1998, Beata and Michael became World Amateur Latin Champions and won British Open (Blackpool), UK Championships, International Championships, US Open, German Open, Swiss Open and all other amateur competitions. At the end of 2004, Beata retired from competitive dancing. In 1999, they turned professional and were finalists of every major international competition since their professional debut at the British Open.

She became the Lithuanian and former Soviet Union youth latin, ballroom, and folk dancing champion. From the end of 2007 to 2009, Beata performed with her professional partner a showdance program worldwide. In 2004, they moved to New York and decided to represent the United States.

In loving memory of Beata Onefater, a beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt and world champion dancer.  On May 30, 2023, at the age of 45, Beata passed on embraced by her family.  She leaves behind a legacy of grace, beauty, and a kind-hearted spirit that touched the lives of all who knew her.  Born on July 21, 1977, her presence brought warmth, care, and compassion that resonated throughout her entire life.

Beata is survived by her loving husband, Zachary; her devoted brother, Artur; her caring mother, Aldona; her supportive father, Leonid; her parents-in-law, Igor and Nataly; her sister-in-law, Katie; her brother-in-law, Maksim and sister-in-law Anastasiia; her beloved Mason; and her nephews, Abraham, Zachary, Axel and Kai.  Beata's family held a special place in her heart, and she treasured the moments spent with them.  Her radiant spirit left an indelible mark on the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

As a world champion dancer, Beata wholeheartedly dedicated herself to the artistry of her craft.  Her passion for dance extended beyond personal achievements.  Beata's influence within the realm of dance was far-reaching, inspiring countless individuals to pursue their passions and strive for excellence.

Beata's profound impact on the world will continue to be remembered, as her light continues to shine brightly, both on and off the dance floor.

Beata is Nationl Judge with The National Dance Concil of America (NDCA) and received her fellowship degree from Dance Vision International Dancers Association (ProDVIDA).

At that time she began her ten year partnership with Michael Wentink.

Beata, born in Lithuania, started her dance career at the age of 6. They remained undefeated as amateurs, as well as, undefeated South African Latin Amateur and Professional Champions for 10 years.
