    Araya Debessay is a full professor of accounting at the University of Delaware, USA, where he has served for the last 40 + years. It was as a result of these activities that the UN Security Council imposed sanctions against the Eritrean government for 9 years.

      Araya is a member of the Global Initiative to Empower Eritrean Grassroots Movement and Eritrean Global Solidarity for National Dialogue. In particular, the Board will take into account the Directors’ duties contained in the UK Companies Act 2006 (‘CA 2006’).
