With border restrictions prohibiting Alex for travelling the length and breadth of Australia, she has undoubtedly been making the most of exploring her own backyard in New South Wales.

In recent months she had uploaded a slew of sun-kissed snaps from the likes of Byron Bay, Southern Highlands and the idyllic north coast.

Before her fame as a presenter, Alex was considered an eighties pin-up thanks to her 'Mellow Yellow' TV advertisement in 1985.

She has also been the face of Home World and My House. Alex also has experience in presenting corporate videos – such as Doctor’s Television, Optus and Citibank – and facilitating corporate team bonding events. Sydney speaks for itself, and we are just the conduit for the conversation.

Alex Wileman has smiled her way into Australian lounge rooms through television and as the face of major national and International commercial campaigns.

Former 'Cartoon Connection' presenter Alex Wileman's new career in tourism

Alex Wileman was a screen staple in the 80s and 90s, quenching our thirst as the face of Mello Yello, brightening our mornings on Cartoon Connection and of course, drawing our lucky numbers as the host of Lotto.

These days, it’s smooth sailing for the TV icon as Alex and her husband hit the high seas with a luxury cruising and tourism company.

“It was 20 years ago and my husband was doing a lot of travelling and he would say that he wanted to see where the locals live,” Wileman said.

“He wanted to go kayaking, find out where they would eat, and it was the same with me.

“I was on the northern beaches with young kids and I thought, wouldn’t it be great to bring people up to the northern beaches, have a swim with them while their spouses are at business meetings and things like that, show them our city?

“Five years ago we found ourselves between careers, and we thought, ‘Let’s go back to TAFE’, and we developed this business and called it Local Eyes.

“We love showing people our city.

She is a qualified personal fitness trainer and is involved in ocean swimming, and regular surf life saving competitions. She is regularly engaged as an MC for various functions.

Alex has been actively involved in the community as an Australia Ambassador and is associated with many charities including being Patron for the MS Society of N.S.W and the Friends of MS Committee, The Cerebral Palsy Alliance and the Children’s Medical Research Institute.

She runs a tourism business with her husband Jamie in Sydney.

Alex explained that she's always harboured a desire to work in the tourism industry after catching the travel bug on the Channel Seven docuseries, The World Around Us. 

With their high-end tour and sightseeing company quickly taking off, Alex and her husband roped in the assistance of their children, George, 29, Jock, 27, and Charlie, 25.

Speaking of their family and business dynamic, the blonde said: 'Living and working together might seem a bit close for comfort.
