When and Where Was Donald Trump Born?
Donald John Trump was born on June 14, 1946, in the New York City borough of Queens. (A 2019 report by the U.S. State Department, concluding a yearslong investigation, found “no persuasive evidence of systemic, deliberate mishandling of classified information” by Clinton.) Trump continued his criticisms of Clinton in the ensuing weeks, routinely referring to her as “Crooked Hillary” and repeatedly vowing to put her in jail if he were elected.
A furor ensued after reports surfaced that nearly 2,000 children had been separated from their parents over a six-week period that ended in May 2018, compounded by photos of toddlers crying in cages. Marla Maples
In 1993, Trump married his second wife, Marla Maples, an actor with whom he had been involved for some time and already had a daughter, Tiffany.
Trump ultimately filed for divorce from Maples in 1997. He and his first wife, Ivana, had three kids together: Donald Trump Jr., born in December 1977; Ivanka Trump, born in October 1981; and Eric Trump, born in January 1984.
His elder brother, Frederick, Jr. (Freddy), worked briefly for their father’s business before becoming an airline pilot in the 1960s. On October 17, the day before the order was to take effect, Judge Watson of Hawaii issued a nationwide order freezing the Trump administration’s new travel ban, writing that the order was a “poor fit for the issues regarding the sharing of ‘public-safety and terrorism-related information that the president identifies.”
On December 4, 2017, the Supreme Court allowed the third version of the Trump administration’s travel ban to go into effect despite the ongoing legal challenges.
Despite his underdog status, Trump was elected president in November 2016, served one term from 2017 to 2021, then lost his reelection bid in 2020.
Donald Trump’s Sons
Since the end of Donald’s presidential term in 2021, Ivanka and her husband have been much less involved in politics. The developer began renovations on the famous Plaza Hotel after purchasing it in 1988 (he sold it four years later).
He was raised Presbyterian and later attended Marble Collegiate Church, a Protestant house of worship led by Reverend Norman Vincent Peale at the time, and The Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea, an Episcopal congregation in Florida. Since the 1980s Trump has lent his name to scores of retail ventures—including branded lines of clothing, cologne, food, and furniture.

Trump is also a real estate developer and businessman who has owned, managed, or licensed his name to hotels, casinos, golf courses, resorts, and residential properties in the New York City area and around the world.
For years, the mandate was threatened by lawsuits from conservative and religious groups. The following day, the president signed a proclamation that directed National Guard troops to the U.S.-Mexico border. In an interview with British TV host Piers Morgan, Trump said "I believe that there is a change in weather and I think it changes both ways...It used to be called global warming, that wasn't working, then it was called climate change and now actually it is called extreme weather."
Trump later told ITV’s Good Morning Britain that he pushed back Prince Charles’ suggestions that the United States do more to combat climate change, saying that the U.S.
“now has among the cleanest climates there are based on all statistics.”
Paris Climate Agreement
On June 1, 2017, Trump withdrew from the 2015 Paris Climate Agreement, which President Obama had joined along with the leaders of 195 other countries. Even after facing few obstacles, he didn’t lose hope. In the three-page report released in April, Trump was described to be “in excellent health, exhibiting robust cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and general physical function.”

In an interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network, Trump also said he would give priority to Christian refugees trying to gain entry into the United States.
After facing multiple legal hurdles, Trump signed a revised executive order on March 6, 2017, calling for a 90-day ban on travelers from six predominantly Muslim countries including Sudan, Syria, Iran, Libya, Somalia and Yemen.
However, his campaign was often mired in controversy, much of it of his own making.
His platform included promises to renegotiate trade deals with American interests in mind, reduce taxes and government regulations, repeal the Affordable Care Act established under outgoing President Barack Obama, defend Second Amendment gun rights, “rebuild our depleted military,” and curb illegal immigration, which he blamed for a variety of crimes.
