In Between the two movies, Harsh got a big opportunity to act in an English film. His most prominent award is the National Film Award for Best Child Artist (2010) for I Am Kalam. Growing up in a modest family, his love for acting blossomed early, fueled by Bollywood films and television shows. He joined Shri Ram Center in Delhi by his uncle Sunil Kumar because his parents were not able to afford the fee of his acting classes.
He also appeared in Jalpari: The Desert Mermaid (2012), Desires of the Heart (2013), Chaarfutiya Chhokare (2014), Hichki (2018), and Nine Hours in Mumbai (2018). He also won the 58th National Film Award for the best child artist. His next film Jalpari: The Desert Mermaid released in 2012. Seeing his potential, his uncle admitted him in Shri Ram Centre For Acting in New Delhi as his parents could not bear the expenses.

Harsh’s television career includes roles in Gumrah: End of Innocence (2014), the 78-episode series AdhaFULL (2016) on Doordarshan National, and Kyunki… Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai (2011) on Sahara One (DD National).

His OTT credits include appearances in Abhay (2019), Kanpuriye (2019), Overtime (2020), and Gullak (2019), receiving an ITA Award nomination for his role in Gullak.
Harsh set his foot in Bollywood in the year 2011 through the unconventional film I Am Kalam. His parents convinced him for the audition. He tried his luck by giving around 180 auditions for various roles. This movie was also directed by Nila Madhab Panda and received critical acclamation. Afterwards he gave 180 auditions for singing, dancing and acting.
He is also sought-after for doing roles in short films.
He has completed the shoot of the short film, Untitled-The Words Left Unsaid by Director Sachin Aggarwal, in the year 2015. The latest film of Harsh was Hichki, with Rani Mukerji.
