His work has been shown in exhibitions internationally including Sotheby’s, The V & A, The Wallace Collection, The Museum of Fine Arts Houston (MFAH), Somerset House, and the Museum of Contemporary Arts (MOCA).

Instead, this work contends that the human body is a collective of multiple organisms and the human can be extended further to become natural in an environment via a form of organic Posthuman Bodying.

His work often focuses on themes of identity, culture, and heritage. Born in London, England, he grew up surrounded by art and culture, which inspired him to pursue a career in photography.

Shergill began his career as a fashion photographer, shooting for magazines such as Vogue and Harper's Bazaar. Presented at: AUB Human.

Edited by creative Daen Palma Huse, the limited edition book Amy by Ram is comprised of over 50 previously unpublished colour images, an interview with the photographer, contributions by music journalist Matthew Barton and arts writer Gülnaz Can, as well as many unique quotes.
