Percy Moran was the son of marine painter Edward Moran and nephew of the prominent landscape artist Thomas Moran.
He had further four-year training in London and Paris and kept studios in New York and Long Island after returning to the United States. Her Grace.

Moran, Edward Percy was born on July 29, 1862 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. He was a member of the American Watercolor Society. A Forgotten Strain. He received a prize in 1886 for his work exhibited at the National Academy of Design. His watercolors and illustrations for books and magazines were popular, and his scenes of children and rural life in colonial America were especially marketable.
