Dingdong Dantes was born on August 2, 1980, in Quezon City, Philippines.
He was raised by his parents, Angeline González Dantes and José Sixto Z. Dantes Jr., along with his four siblings: Jose Angelo Dantes, Aya Dantes, Victoria Dantes, and Trina Dantes.
Dingdong graduated from West Negros University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree.
