Thank you as always for your support of Film Obsessive!
We're always on the lookout for people passionate about film and want to write about it. Ray tends to keep a somewhat positive outlook, especially as he leaves the tough problems for his practical wife, Debra, to deal with.
On-screen, Marie had Frank, Ray had Debra and Robert eventually had Amy.
But off-screen, the Everybody Loves Raymond stars had their own relationships, all of which are explored below.
Ray Romano and Anna Romano
Ray Romano has been married to his sweetheart since 1987, about nine years before Everybody Loves Raymond began airing. In 1993, the Romano’s had twin sons Matthew and Gregory, and their fourth son, Joseph, in 1998.
They’ve been together, happily married since, supporting each other along the way through everything, including Ray’s massive fame.
Patricia Heaton and Constantine Yankoglu
The couple married in 1984 but divorced after 3 years in 1987.
It wasn’t long before Xavier started to notice that the cave wasn’t getting darker, it was getting lighter. The couple welcomed two kids over the years: son Maxwell in 1998 and daughter Hope in 2000.
They were married for seven years, filing for divorce in 2006, with Garrett explaining their decision.
“You can’t stay together for the kids, because kids know everything,” he said.
Billion Dollar Babies isn’t interested in looking at the systematic reasons that allowed this phenomenon nor its lasting impact on consumerism. The couple met after Rosenthal saw Horan performing in a play, and they eventually joined the same comedy troupe. “Sure, it’s daunting to have Daddy move out… Our No. 1 focus is our kids and parenting.
The documentary is a simple crowd pleaser for a family movie night. Xavier took out his pocketknife to cut away some of the vines and poked his head into the bright sunlight once again. The Cabbage Patch kids were not the first to incite this level of enthusiasm and it certainly won’t be the last.
Xavier Roberts created the Little People dolls and an entire world for them to inhabit, but he took issue with referring to the Little People as dolls.
Harris’ narration is distracting at best, and ultimately unnecessary, and it takes away from time that could be spent on the featured experts. There isn’t much information known about their relationship.
Patricia Heaton and David Hunt
This love match was right out of the movies.
The couple first met in 1983 while they were both working as bank tellers in Queens. Instead of bean bag animals, it was soft cloth dolls that incited riots at local department stores.
There is no shortage of pop culture capitalistic crazes to mine for documentary and miniseries fodder. What does it say about our society that we are so willing to drop everything and join in on some fad?
I think they thought I’d leave them.”
Doris Roberts and William Goyen
As Roberts’ career continued to soar, she tied the knot with her second husband, William Goyen, in 1963. Sweeten is currently married to Sean Durrie, who she began dating in 2014, asrevealed on her Instagram.
Peter Boyle and Loraine Alterman Boyle
Peter Boyle found love on-screen as Frank Barone with Doris Roberts’ Marie, and in real life with wife Loraine Alterman Boyle.
This is a terrible statement to make, but I’m going to make it. We’re simply biding time before the inevitable Squishmallow documentary and a miniseries about the 2016 Christmas Hatchimal season that some of us had to endure as minimum wage employees at the local Target. Find out more. There are moments when he tries to shift the focus from the baffling drama of the Cabbage Patch Kids/Little People with a mediocre joke.
