5 8 1/2 max. Brad Pitt is somewhere between 5'10.5" and 5'11" and pretty much always looked more than an inch taller than Damon.

i dont agrre with average guess.
to be honest even Jordan 6'6 claim is more believable than Damon at 5'10. I have met butler and he looked essentially what he measured at the combine 6’5.25”. Actually, seeing this photo, I understand why Damon upgraded Affleck to 6'4"! The more happy you are with yourself the more you see things for what they really are.

Next to Heath Ledger, Matt looks really rather small! About a half inch shorter than your average man.Still a pretty good height.

He's a minimum of 5'9.25 but nothing over 5'9.75. they were barefoot and pitt had shoes on that gave very little ( i guess 1-1,5 cm) Clooney was little taller than matt ( we talk at most 2 cm) Pitt did look 4 cm taller than cloney but take of shoes of 1,5 and 1 cm better posture then he was atmost 1,5 taller. He's 5' 2" tops. He could measure 5'9.75 in the morning like me but hes no more than 5'9.5 evening time

It's bang in the middle, so I think it's perfectly fair to go with that mark if you want.
Or a fat guy say " i dont want to go to the gym because i dont think it look good with muscles but i can look like a bodybuilder if i want" if that makes you feel good then say it. They share three daughters together: Isabella, Gia, and Stella. Not sure about 5’8.5, but he doesn’t even strike me as a strong 5’9 guy.

At 4.17 when they take the pic together I wouldn't have said 7 inches difference between Matt and Tom.
Looks more 6 inch range but he is definetly not above this looked close to 3" shorter than Heath Ledger.
