I'm going to be visiting Spain once again this year, this time for a really short vacation to my Uncle's wedding in Granada!

She moved with her family to Los Angeles when she was 14 years old and is fulfilling a childhood dream of being an artist at the Walt Disney Animation Studios.

Bové graduated from Cal Arts in 2007, completing an internship at Pixar Animation Studios in Emeryville. I’m known for having a good sense of color. I enjoyed drawing and painting and I never gave up.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I work now as a Production Designer at Disney Animation Studios.

I'm honored to be part of the panel discussion: women in animation, http://www.waltdisney.org/node/1224/0 at the Walt Disney Family Museum in San Francisco, CA Sat MArch 15 at 11 am Ive been illustrating a couple of books, one of the is coming out in March "No Slurping, No Burping" The other still in the works. Bové is the illustrator of the Walt Disney Animation Studios Artist
Showcase book, “No Slurping, No Burping!: A Tale of Table Manners.” She has also created new
artwork for each of Walt Disney Records’ 12 albums in “The Legacy Collection.”

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Not been accepted at Cal Arts was rough and taking a year off to build a portfolio and worked really hard filling in sketchbooks was challenging but gratifying.

Bove has also illustrated the “Toy Story” picture book , “The Princess and the Frog” Little Golden Book, the “wreck it Ralph” Little golden book , the “Monsters University Fearbook” picturebook, and Disney animation studios Artist  showcase series “No Slurping, No Burping”

    dreamy world

Many things going on, but here is a quick post.

I love imperfection and personality and I feel my work has that. She has worked on The Walt Disney Animation Studios’ musical comedy “The Princess and the Frog” doing visual development, color characters and costumes, props, backgrounds and end credit sequence art and designs. with all the girls attending :) So excited for my Sista!
