Founded by Linzi Ramsden, a talented ceramic artist with years of experience in the industry, the company has a rich history of creating high-quality, handmade ceramics that are both beautiful and functional. It features a number of studios, labs, and showrooms not just in Hong Kong but also in Zhuhai and Jingdezhen in China.
Each studio showcases a range of workshops that are tailored to suit the skills of the learners, so don’t be afraid to sign up for a lesson even if you don’t know a bit about pottery and ceramics.
This studio offers a wide variety of workshops and courses around ceramic, pottery, painting, drawing, and other art forms, so you can really try your creative hand at almost everything.
In addition to their regular clay and ceramic workshops, the studio also hosts parent-child workshops that let the kids learn pottery with their parents, so it’s kind of an enjoyable family bonding time.
Through the Parent-Child Workshops and Regular Ceramic Courses for Children, the kiddos can learn how to use a potter’s wheel, form shapes out of clay, and design their very own ceramic ware.

Can you recommend any specific products or materials for a particular project or type of crafting?
Certainly!They have lessons for kids, adults, couples, and even the whole family.
Also, with a studio membership, you and the other two people you want to share the membership with can get exclusive access to Tung Yao Ceramics’ studio in Sheung Wan. This package lets the members have full access to the clay, tools, and other equipment they may need to work on their ceramic pieces, so we think that the course fee is worth it.

Want to pick up a cool new hobby? This studio features a spacious yet minimalist working space that’s excellent if you want to have some time alone to create your own porcelain art piece.
The workshops here might be limited, but they are still worth checking out, especially if you’re looking for indoor activities that you can enjoy with your friends.
The studio offers private workshops for a small group (maximum of four people), and the pieces you can make range from cups, Sake ware, tableware, accessories, and more.
