    Jindřich Štyrský (11 August 1899, Čermná u Kyšperka – 21 March 1942, Prague) was a Czech Surrealist painter, poet, editor, photographer, and graphic artist.


    His outstanding and varied oeuvre included numerous book covers and illustrations.

    Reared in a poor family on the western frontier, Lincoln was self-educated, and became a country lawyer, a Whig Party leader, Illinoisstatelegislatorduring the 1830s, and a one-term member of the UnitedStatesHouse of Representativesduring the 1840s.

    After a series of debates in 1858 that gave nationalvisibility to his opposition to the expansion of slavery, Lincoln lost the Senate race in Illinois to his arch-rival, Stephen A.

    Douglas. As part of the Proclamation, Lincoln also urged black males to join the Union forces as soldiers and sailors. He and Toyen also exhibited in Paris in the late 1920s, where they founded their own movement, Artificialism. Štyrský was also an active editor.
