Which is original Sai Satcharitra?
Original Sai Satcharitra was first written in Marathi Language by Shri. The original manuscript of the Sai Satcharita is well preserved in same room at Raj Niwas, where he wrote the Satcharita. Hemadpant started to write the book in 1922 and soon after finishing the Sri Sai Satcharita he died in 1929.
It was translated into English language and published in the year 1944, by Shri. The Sai Satcharitra consists of several chapters and it contains most of the real incidents happened in the life of Saibaba.
Hemadpant started writing the Sri Sai Satcharita in the year 1922, and before completing the final chapter, he has died in the year 1929.
The Sai Satcharita consists of 9450 verses spread over 52 Chapters. Nagash Devastate (N.V.) Gunaji, translated from the Marathi version.

हेमाडपंतांनी इमारतीच्या बांधकामात एक वेगळी शैली आणली, ज्याला आज आपण सर्वजण हेमाडपंती मंदिरे म्हणून ओळखतो.During 1910, Shree Govind Raghunath Dabholkar came to Shirdi, he saw the life style of Sai Baba and amused by his Miracles in which he prevented cholera epidemic from attaching Shirdi by grinding wheat and dispersing around the city. हेमाद्री हे केवळ प्रशासक नव्हते, तर त्यांनी धार्मिक महत्त्व प्राप्त करून देणार्या विविध व्रतांची माहिती देणारा संस्कृतमधील चतुर्वर्ग चिंतामणी नावाचा एक ग्रंथही लिहिला होता.
Then the final chapter was completed by Balasaheb Dev. The things which Hemadpant used while writing the Sai Satcharita book, is still preserved and kept at his home at Mumbai for public view. The writings are based on biography based on the true life stories of Sai Baba.

Prathama (First Level) on Chapter 1 to 20
Dwitiya (Second Level) on chapters 11 to 20
Tritiya (Third Level) on chapters 21 to 30
Chaturthi (Fourth Level) on chapters 31 to 40
Panchami (Fifth Level) on chapters 41 to 53 – this include practical exam and two theory papers (one exam on the chapters 41 to 53 and second exam that covers all chapter of Sai Satcharitra).
Sai Niwas is now more than 100 years old and frequently visited by travellers across the world. The original edition of the Sai Satcharitra was published in Marathi on 26 November, 1930

Hemadri or Hemadpant was a chief minister during the kingdom of Yadavs of Deogiri.
