Early Legal Career
After graduating from Georgetown, LeMieux returned to Florida to begin his legal career. He joined the prestigious law firm Gunster Yoakley & Stewart, where he quickly established a strong reputation.

pba.edu. When a friend’s father offered me $7 an hour to work in his home remodeling business, I left to work with him. Gunster recently merged with the Katz Barron firm and created the Arrow Group to expand its governmental relations capabilities in Tallahassee.
Before him are Michèle Flournoy, David Cicilline, Todd Young, Andrew R. Wheeler, Jon Husted, and Tate Reeves. He went on to earn his Juris Doctorcum laude from Georgetown University Law Center in 1994. He is chairman of the Florida-based law firm of Gunster, Yoakley & Stewart and was chief of staff to Governor Charlie Crist.
