During his 20 years in Memphis he trained over 40 surgeons from both the United States and around the world, many of whom stand as leaders in their field today. His broad range of experiences and depth of knowledge within the medical field uniquely position his practice. The former Surgeon General, Dr. C. Everett Koop at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, mentored Dr.
Lobe. He is recognized internationally in his field and has been honored with lifetime achievement awards on three continents. In 2013, Dr. Lobe moved his main practice to Chicago, Illinois where he focuses on advanced hormone therapy, anti aging medicine and regenerative medicine. Dr. Lobe was then recruited to Iowa to lead an advanced minimally invasive and robotics surgery program once more.
Over the years, Dr.
Lobe’s strong interests in nutrition, metabolism, wound care, and regenerative medicine continued to expand. Dr. Lobe has over 250 peer-reviewed articles, abstracts, and books to his credit. In addition, he completed his fellowship training in pediatric surgery at The Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio (now called Nationwide Children’s Hospital).
He credits this to his battle with Legg-Calve’-Perthes, a disease of the hip which is still poorly understood today. He continues to lecture and teach around the world and has completed his advanced fellowship, receiving his boards in anti aging, regenerative and functional medicine.
In 2008, Dr. Lobe opened his first dream clinic, an anti aging practice in Beverly Hills, California.
Dr. Lobe’s patients appreciate his genius for quickly and efficiently unraveling complex healthcare issues and making dramatic improvements to their quality of life. From there he took his first academic position at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas where he served as Chief of Service for 8 years and developed one of the earliest programs applying laser therapy to children’s disease.
In addition to leading the residency-training program, Dr. Lobe was the Chief of Pediatric Surgery at Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Moreover, he attained fellowship of the American College of Surgeons having met the standards and guidelines required of the nation’s leading surgeons.
Dr.
Lobe completed his General Surgery training at The Ohio State University Hospitals and his Pediatric Surgery Training at The Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio (now called Nationwide Children’s Hospital). His broad range of experiences and depth of knowledge within the medical field uniquely position his practice. All of this experience as an active surgeon, teacher of doctors and regenerative medicine visionary has given Dr.
Lobe a unique insight into what types of traditional medicine work and where regenerative therapies make sense. Lobe remained in the sciences and completed his undergrad in zoology at The George Washington University.
