Early Life and Beginnings
Daniel Faid Amidou, better known as Dany Boon, was born in Armentières, France, on June 26, 1966.

Dany Boon, whose actual name is Daniel Farid Hamidou, was born on 26 June 1966. With his first wife, he had Mehdi, his eldest son, born in 1997. Boon was born into a middle-class family in northern France, and his early career started in Paris in 1989.
His current partner is actress Laurence Arné.
Recent Projects
In 2023, Boon released "Paris: All Inclusive," a comedy in which he once again assumed the roles of lead actor, director, and screenwriter. Limit one Code redemption per person. No previous DVD featuring a one-man show had sold as well in France.
He was then offered several roles in movies, notably in the film Joyeux Noël that made it on the international scene in 2005.
