She was born in 1956.

My last memory with Ms. Ngoc Lan is meeting her at a music festival. Ngọc Lan was the fifth child in a well-off family. In 1998, Ngọc Lan made her last appearance during the filming of the outdoor scenes for Asia to film Video 18.

Talented and beautiful is that, but Ngoc Lan is right in the "red face of silver destiny" when she has to endure a lot of pain from illness, retires from the stage and music while still young, most devoted to the profession. This was her last music video with Asia Center.

They rumored that she committed suicide because of her heartbreak, pregnancy, and childbirth; paralyzed in the whole body, being played with wormwood, so mentally unstable. She re-emerged in 1994 in the concert, "Ngọc Lan và Thính Giả Thương Yêu" in Anaheim California.

At first, with money short, she considered quitting her singing career, and sell hamburgers because she felt that her voice box limited how often she could sing. Her popularity with Vietnamese audiences has made Quynh Anh the carrier of the torch passed over graciously by a long list of talented Vietnamese songstresses of French popular music who had come before her.
