While working as a model for a jewellery advertisement, she was spotted by one of the Tamil film directors who offered her a Tamil film.  She had been a very successful commercial and advertising model in Delhi and Mumbai. 

Jasmin had acted in few commercials like Chennai diamonds, Pepsi and white X-Detergent and one of her commercials that release in 2012 for Colgate make her very popular and a familiar face to every Indian household.
