Early in 2018 Daryl was tapped by KPop producer-composer In Soo Shin, who heard his English version of the Goblin theme song Beautiful, to sing the English version of the Korean song Stop My Heart. Before his singing career, Ong was a cartoonist at ABS-CBN, animating Super Inggo at ang Super Tropa.
