The guy is extremely likable, even if you are not into his tattoos, but lots of Brits are. Young and talented, so I am waiting for the bigger things to come!

We are witnessing greatness
I have been a fan of magicians all my life. This makes it all the more surprising for them!
As a practicing magician I felt the audience reactions were real. Troy was born in Lewisham, south-east London and is of German and Jamaican heritage. Through thousands of performances, he has acquired a totally unique skill set, which has been a key vehicle in his becoming one of the leading artists in his field.
His love for magic developed into a passion for street magic, where he could connect directly with people in a more intimate and immediate way.
I have been in a live taping of fellow magician Criss Angel's show and the same reaction they showed was the same reaction that occurred on-site live with no plants. This focus on close-up magic and interaction would later become a trademark of his performance style.
Troy the Magician | The Magic Circle
Magic is inherently a live, interactive experience, involving both participation and observation.
People sitting next to him at a table to secretly swap an item, or someone feeding Troy information through a secret microphone (or vice versa) make some of his magic tricks not so magical.

Good concept spoiled by obvious plants and a huge amount of camera play
Everyone likes street magic - A guy walks up to unsuspecting strangers and performs magic to shock & awe them with magic.
But I feel Troy's show fulfills its purpose of entertainment and I can't wait for it to come out on DVD/BluRay.

Troy the Magician
Troy von Scheibner – known as Troy the Magician – is a renowned magician, widely regarded as one of the UK’s top talents in the field.
His career breakthrough came when he was given his own magic TV series, TROY, which first aired in 2014 on E4 and later reached a global audience, airing in over 150 countries..
The show, which ran for two seasons, was a hit with audiences both in the UK and internationally.
But now he should go for the bigger tricks on the bigger stage, as people will recognize him as magician. "We are walking around a graveyard at night and there just happens to be someone following us with a video camera for no particular reason?" Yeah, right.
Troy also has unseen people to help him with his tricks. And I feel that the same goes for Troy.
If you think you have all the tricks, you will be in for a surprise yourself, scratching your head like the audience, going "How did he do that?" And you keep thinking that through every episode. Unfortunately I have not been convinced that a single person Troy has interacted with on the show has not had some sort of head's up that they are going to be filmed for a TV show, despite the "HIDDEN CAMERA" claims the show makes.
Another dead giveaway as to this fact is that the camera could not possibly get the shots they get for unsuspecting people.
Unfortunately, there are a massive amount of tricks that are easy to figure out if you realize that Troy has people helping him. Not only is he a member, but he has been awarded the rank of Member of the Inner Magic Circle with Gold Star, a title reserved for only the most elite and accomplished magicians. Known for delivering high-level magic with an infectious charisma, Troy’s captivating performance style enhances his ability to leave a lasting impression on audiences, both in live settings and on television.
