Troy von Scheibner is an award winning magician and one of the UK’s most successful magicians. As the tired performer was leaving the restaurant to catch the last train home to Lewisham, the manager asked him to perform one last time for the tables upstairs.
Danny Fenton, the chief executive of ZigZag Productions and a Jewish Care supporter, was among diners in the upstairs seating area.

“I started with cards, they’re easy to carry around,” he shrugs.
I shuffle the cards thoroughly (dropping a bundle or two in the process) and try to maintain focus as he works his magic, attempting to fathom just how he does it .
