He was an avid reader of poetry also and has ferocity of narration. He tried to start his career in a TV serial by Gantasala Ratna Kumar (famous TV serial director), but he was too shy and nervous before camera and odd are against him which made serial stalled in the middle. My lifetime conversations with him wouldn’t exceed a page.

He offered me a role in his serial, and the next day, I received a call from Balaji Telefilms thanks to his reference. Rao Ramesh is noted for his natural acting style, command over the Telugu language, and ability to portray diverse complex characters. He was now offered roles in every big project in Telugu movies. He completed his initial schooling at Sri Ramakrishna Mission School in T.

Nagar. However, his breakthrough role in Krish’s “Gamyam” (2008) brought him widespread recognition. He also acted in Kollywood & Sandlewood movies in 2010.

Rao Ramesh is an acclaimed Indian actor primarily known for his work in Telugu cinema as well as in Tamil films and television.

Later, he pursued a degree in Communications before venturing into the field of still photography. He even applied for a course in live-action and animation at The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in California, but his parents unfortunately did not permit this pursuit.

His father, Rao Gopal Rao, was a highly acclaimed South Indian actor hailing from the Rajas dynasty.

In 1994, his plans to study photography and animation in the US were thwarted by his father’s passing that same year.

In another interview, when asked about regrets regarding his father, he replied:

“Yes.

Subsequently, he appeared in several Telugu TV serials, including “Pavithra Bandham” and “Kalavari Kodalu.” His Telugu film debut arrived in 2002 with “Seema Simham,” where he portrayed Hema’s brother. There, I learned about industrial photography, using Cinar cameras that cost around 16 lakhs each.

As of 2021, he was actively involved in filming for Telugu movies “Bheemla Nayak,” “Bangarraju,” and “Anni Manchi Sakunamule.”

Tamil

His Tamil film debut was “Kadhalna Summa Illai” (2009), where he played the character of Dalit. In the film, he portrayed a reformed Naxalite and received critical acclaim for his performance, contributing to the film’s success at the box office.

Following the success of “Gamyam,” Rao Ramesh went on to deliver notable performances in films such as “Kotha Bangaru Lokam” (2008), “Avakai Biryani” (2008), and S.
