Canadian Producer Anmol Kapoor’s Film Saroj Ka Rishta Starring Shahid Kapoor’s Sister Sanah To Release This Friday
Sanah Kapoor, daughter of veteran actors Pankaj Kapoor and Supriya Pathak, made her Bollywood debut with “Shaandar” alongside brother Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt and she is now back as a lead in Alberta-based producer Anmol Kapoor’s family comedy Saroj Ka Rista, which releases in Canada and India this Friday.

MUMBAI – Sanah Kapoor, daughter of veteran actors Pankaj Kapoor and Supriya Pathak, made her Bollywood debut with “Shaandar” alongside brother Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt and she is now back as a lead in Alberta-based producer Anmol Kapoor’s family comedy Saroj Ka Rista, which releases in Canada and India this Friday.
Anmol, who was in Surrey to promote the film on Monday, told DESIBUZZCanada that the film tackles the subject of society’s obsession with physical beauty while ignoring the inner beauty that we all possess.
“Saroj Ka Rishta talks about everyday life struggles people go through and how society discriminates against overweight people but we wanted to tell the story from the point of view of such a woman and how she deals with and triumphs.
NOTICE!! She holds a master’s degree in Literature and Psychology from Mithibai College, Mumbai, and also attended the University of East London. Sanah Kapoor described the shooting of the film as a blast.
“It was a great experience working on this film because a bunch of young people came together to make the film, on a subject we all believed in.
