In 2010, he entered his first competitive stage rally at the Sandblast Rally in Cheraw, South Carolina where he placed 5th overall. Step-son of Renee Ellingsworth-Albert and Jeff Dawdy ... From there he competed in the Atlantic Rally Cup placing 4th overall in the 2011 Championship.[3] After moving to the Pacific Northwest, he won the Rally America North West Championship in the Open Category in 2015[4] and placed 2nd overall in the 2015 Cascadia International Rally Championship.[5]
He began full-time competition in 2018 where he placed 3rd overall and 2nd in the Limited 4WD class in the American Rally Association National Championship.[6] and it was the same year he won the North American Rally Cup.[2]
He continues to compete on a limited schedule with the American Rally Association and the Canadian Association of Rally Sport.
