In 1972, after a hiatus, Mary Hopkin embarked on an extensive concert tour, and that same year she released her album "Those Were The Days." She also released a Christmas single, "Mary Had a Baby," during that time. Earth Song/Ocean Song featured Danny Thompson from Pentangle on double bass, Ralph McTell on guitar and Dave Cousins from The Strawbs on guitar.
The album's release marked the end of her tenure with Apple.
She is instead involved in helping her daughter and son build a solid career in music.

Mary Hopkin was born on May 3rd, 1950, in Ystradgynlais, near Swansea in South Wales. Delaney (who changed his name to Morgan) was born in 1972 and Jessica in 1976.
