The book is in very nice condition EXCEPT for a remainder mark and a little shelf staining on the bottom, the name of the previous owner on the frontispiece while the jacket has a tiny tear at the top back front.

Ultimately it's not hard to see how this volume fell out of print after its first pressing. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good.

Condition: Very Good. Its organisation is so chronologically incoherent as to be practically non-existent; major events like line-up changes and album releases happen out of sequence and there are a handful of spelling mistakes that suggest that this project needed the attention of an editor with a feel for the subject.

It has the feel of a missed opportunity, and yet because there's such a dearth of material out there, for a real Straits anorak, it is still arguably still worth tracking a copy down.
