The Prince Music Theater presents the Tony Award and Olivier Award-winning director Peter Brook's production of The Suit today, February 26-March 8. and La Tragédie d’Hamlet, and provided dramaturgical input for Qui est là?, L’Homme Qui and Woza Albert!
With Peter Brook, she co-wrote Je suis un phénomène, staged at the Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord in 1998, She wrote the French-language adaptations of Le Costume, based on the works of Can Themba and premiered in 1999 by the Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord, and Caryl Churchill’s Far Away, premiered in 2002 by the same company.
She assistant directed and co-wrote (with Jean‑Claude Carrière) the French-language adaptation of Shakespeare’s Hamlet (French title: La Tragédie d’Hamlet, premiered in 2002).
Set in South Africa, The Suit tells a tale of love, revenge and redemption. Tickets are on sale now at PrinceMusicTheater.org. At the CICT she rose to become Brook's assistant, resident writer and dramaturg. After working as a reporter for the Nouvel Observateur and Nouvelles Littéraires, she was hired as Michel Guy’s assistant and worked with him on the programming for the Festival d’Automne in Paris.
