She majorly sings in Spanish and has released no less than 30 albums in the course of her career. They have two beautiful daughters together; Mariana & Marisa.

Furthermore, in addition to veterinary, Lorenza is a film director; in 1986, she was the art director and script supervisor of her husband’s short film Doña Lupe.

So, what caused their divorce? Since the divorce, the couple is yet to disclose the cause of their split but have rather moved on with their separate lives. Newton’s marriage to Del Toro produced two daughters namely Mariana and Marisa Del Toro. Del Toro has since directed several highly acclaimed movies including Hellboy, Pacific Rim, Crimson Peak, Blade II, and The Shape of Water (which fetched him the 2018 Oscar for best director and best picture).
