Laudya Cynthia Bella was born on 24-02-1988 in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. Aktingnya di film itu pun membawa Bella meraih beberapa penghargaan seperti Pemeran Utama Wanita Terpuji di Festival Film Bandung 2005 dan Most Favorite Rising Star pada ajang MTV Indonesia Movie Awards di tahun yang sama.

Namanya mulai dikenal luas setelah dia bermain sebagai pemeran utama di sinetron Senandung Masa Puber yang ditayangkan di Trans TV.

Film debut Bella berjudul Virgin yang tayang di tahun 2004, namanya meroket setelah film ini menjadi film terlaris di tahun itu dengan jumlah penonton mencapai 1,4 juta.
