In 1973, he joined the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) theatre at the Ori Olokun Cultural Studies under Prof.

He pursued his early education in the arts at Obafemi Awolowo University, earning certificates in dramatic arts and Yoruba oral literature. He has since had another four boys.
He loves the songs of Fela, KSA, Orlando Owoh and Sikiru Ayinde Barrister in that order. Following his retirement, he continued contributing to academia by joining Redeemer’s University as the head of the Dramatic Arts Department.
