Salman Khan (Mohammad Ghouse) from Bangalore won the first season while Shakti Mohan from Delhi won the second season. Each skipper will have four contestants in his/her team. Saumya has been the anchor of Dance India Dance since the first season. The tag line of the show is Dance Ke Baap. The five skippers are -
- Dharmesh Yelande (First runner-up of DID Season 2)
- Amrita Maitra (Top 6 of DID Season 2)
- Jai Kumar Nair (3rd runner-up of DID Season 1)
- Vrushali Chavan (Participant of DID Season 1)
- Mayuresh Wadkar (Participant of DID Season 1)
While Dharmesh Yelande, Amrita and Jai will guide the contestants single-handedly, Vrushali and Mayuresh will jointly choreograph the performances.
Judges
Mithun Chakraborty (popular known as Mithunda) continues to be the grandmaster of the show in this season too (he has held this honor in the first two seasons as well).
