Corbin Dean Bernsen was born on September 7, 1954, in North Hollywood, California, to Harry Bernsen Jr., a Hollywood producer, and Jeanne Cooper, a veteran actress known for The Young and the Restless.
Additionally, her other charity work included Children's Cancer Research (London), House of Hope (San Diego, California) and Drive By Agony (Lynwood, California).
The 1960s culture of film and music shaped his creative spark, and he began performing in school plays.

Career
Bernsen’s career began in 1974 with a bit role in his father’s film Three the Hard Way.
After working as a carpenter, roofer, and model in New York, he landed his first major role as Ken Graham in Ryan’s Hope (1983–1985).
Jeanne has had a wide ranging television career including appearances in the series The Twilight Zone, Perry Mason, Maverick, and Ben Casey, a performance for which she received an Emmy nomination.
Jeanne founded a national volunteer support network called the Katherine Chancellor Society. Written by show creator William J. Bell specifically to convey controversial storylines that would boost weak ratings, Katherine was everything the wealthy wife of Phillip Chancellor II shouldn’t be: a drunk, a heavy smoker and a bit of a slut who had illicit affairs with stable boys.
And Corbin himself can be credited for bringing the daytime community updates regarding his mother’s recent health issues and death earlier today.
“I will certainly dedicate what remains of my life to continue her purpose of honesty, equality, humility, empathy and love,” he wrote to fans. His height is 180 cm (5’11”).
