She started her career in her early childhood, by appearing at several commercials as well as in music videos. Despite being a celebrity, she chooses not to disclose the details of her personal life to her fans.

Following the success of “Rebelde,” Perroni starred in the 2007 spin-off sitcom “RBD: La Familia,” which featured the real-life personalities of the “Rebelde” band members.

In 2008, Perroni had her first lead role in the hit telenovela “Cuidado con el ángel”, co-starring William Levy.

She decided to pursue her acting career and after high school, she enrolled in Televisia prestigious school, where she attended a special course during two years in a row.

In 2014, Perroni starred in her sixth lead role in the telenovela “La Gata” and was named the “new queen of Mexican telenovelas” by People en Español.

Perroni was also a member of the hugely popular band RBD, which launched after the success of “Rebelde.” RBD released nine studio albums and sold over 15 million copies worldwide before disbanding in 2009.

Personal Life

Maite Perroni married her long-term partner, Andrés Tovar, in a beautiful ceremony in 2022, which their loved ones celebrated.

She has made her first appearance as a professional actress in the Mexican telenovela “Rbelde” with the role of Guadalupe "Lupita" Fernández. She is Mexican and Christian.

Career

Maite Perroni made her acting debut starring in the 2004-2006 remake of the Argentine telenovela Rebelde, portraying Guadalupe “Lupita” Fernández.

During her career she was nominated numerous times. She also was involved in a Disney Channel show as a dancer. She won the title The Girl of My Dreams by her participation in “Cuidado Con El Ángel” and “Triunfo del Amor”. In the 2010 she appeared in the third season of “Mujeres asesinas”, where she played just 4 episodes.

When she was 12 years old, her parents moved back to Mexico City. There are many pictures of her available through some social sites such as Instagram, Twitter and many other celebrity sites as well. She starred in two more lead roles in 2008 and 2009 with “Mi Pecado” and a guest appearance in “Mujeres Asesinas.”

Perroni’s success led Univision to name her the “new queen of the telenovelas” in 2009.

The next year she got the main role in the telenovela “Cuidado con el ángel”.

Afterwards, she played the lead character Renata Landeros in the “Cachito de Cielo”, which released in the 2012.
