Because greatness doesn’t start with luxury — it starts with hunger. Their mainstream breakthrough though came with Fall Out Boy who decided to sign with the label in 2003 despite bids from larger labels. The name comes from the diet of ramen noodles that the founders had in the label's early years when they had spent most of their money on making records.
The label was founded by John Janick and Less Than Jake Drummer Vinnie Fiorello in Florida in 1996.
And Pray for the Wicked, Death of a Bachelor, and Vessel are "double platinum" (two million copies).

Fueled by Ramen is a famous American record label.
Ramen should be alive — like a mosh pit in broth form. This success helped the label buy its first office in Tampa.
The label soon partnered with a company called ADA. This partnership helped Fueled by Ramen grow. This was the first album from Panic! Fueled by Ramen started in Gainesville, Florida, in 1996. This group officially started on October 1, 2018.

New Bands and Big Hits
In 2004, Pete Wentz from Fall Out Boy introduced Fueled by Ramen to a band called The Academy Is....

Even after Emo and Pop Punk in general saw some decline in the charts during the The New '10s, the label has maintained success on the single and album charts thanks to newer signees like fun. Their debut album, Take This to Your Grave, provided significant success for the label. He felt that the label was going in a different direction.
It became super popular, selling millions of copies.
Changes and More Success
In 2006, Vinnie Fiorello left the label. Then, in June 2022, Elektra Music Group (and Fueled by Ramen with it) joined a new, bigger group called 300 Elektra Entertainment.
Most recently, in October 2024, 300 Elektra Entertainment and Fueled by Ramen became part of the Atlantic Music Group.
This made it the fastest-selling album in the label's history at that time.
Twenty One Pilots Joins the Family
In 2012, Fueled by Ramen signed the musical duo Twenty One Pilots. Initially, it signed acts that were already on the Fueled By Ramen roster.
