Claude was born in Pike River, Quebec on November 11, 1929 and was one of 16 children.
He lived a good portion of his life in Manchester, CT.
Claude was a gifted automotive and diesel mechanic and worked as the Fleet Manager for the town of Bloomfield, CT.
Upon retirement, he moved to northern NY where he designed and built a house with his wife Leona.
He enjoyed working on cars and lawn tractors, digging with his backhoe, taking road trips, tending to his property, and spending time outdoors.
He was devoted to his church and a proud lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus who awarded him “Knight of the Year” in 1992/1993 and again in 2007/2008.
He touched many lives in the north country and was remembered by all who met him.
He was predeceased by his first wife Leona Archambault and by his second wife Peggy Diles Archambault.
He left behind his son Ernest Archambault, daughter Caroline Archambault, grandson Juston Archambault, granddaughter Maeghan Traboulsi, beloved partner Vinnie Leone, and great grandchildren Logan, Colton, Lyla, Sophia, and Roman.
The immediate family will be holding a private ceremony in CT.
A celebration of life will also be held at LBSH.

Même s’il a déjà été éjecté du Barreau dans la disgrâce, l’ex-criminaliste vedette Claude F. Archambault a écopé d’une nouvelle radiation de cinq ans, bloquant ainsi un éventuel retour à court terme comme avocat.
Les ennuis s’accumulent pour le célèbre ex-avocat bien connu pour ses publicités dans le bottin des Pages jaunes.
En plus d’une faillite en 2013 et d’une centaine d’infractions déontologiques qui lui avaient valu une radiation de 2011 jusqu’à mars 2016, le Barreau lui a récemment imposé une nouvelle sanction.
Il n’a pas été possible de joindre l’ex-avocat.
À la fin de cette nouvelle radiation, M. Archambault aura plus de 80 ans.
Négligent
Sa première radiation était survenue entre autres pour s’être approprié «sans droit» 165 671 $ en lien avec des comptes en fidéicommis.
Claude F. Archambault est radié (...) du Barreau du Québec pour une période de cinq ans à compter du 19 juillet 2016», peut-on lire dans un avis de radiation diffusé par cet ordre professionnel.
Comme il n’y a pas eu de demande d’appel, cette punition ne peut plus être révoquée.
Théorique
Cette radiation est toutefois théorique, puisque l’ex-criminaliste ne pratique plus le droit.
Selon son dossier de faillite pour des dettes accumulées d’environ 4 millions de dollars, Claude F.
Archambault vivrait avec des rentes de retraite totalisant 2459 $ par mois.
En comptant le loyer, la nourriture et les frais courants, il prétendait à l’époque n’avoir plus un sou.
«Je connais le droit, j’ai fait ça pendant 45 ans, je ne connais pas autre chose», avait-il confié au Journal en 2013, ajoutant qu’il ne souhaitait pas redevenir avocat.
Le Barreau n’était pas en mesure d’indiquer hier si Claude F.
Archambault avait depuis tenté de réintégrer la profession.
