I was born and raised in Mumbai, India, in a Catholic family, so even though I was taught Hindi in school, English was my first language at home.     Only 10 months, 29 days, 11 hours,51 minutes has left for her next birthday. I always had a love for language, performance and story-telling. My feature film Double Wedding is a Female Buddy Rom Com that is inspired by the close friendships and relationships I have fostered with people outside my race. It was a dream come true working with the master of comedy Chuck Lorre.

    Ieventually made my way back to Los Angeles, my home for the last 10 years, where I have moved up to testing and guest star roles (The Big Bang Theory and Grey's Anatomy).

    It has been discouraging to see that there still are limited and stereotypical roles for women of color, even today, 20 years after I first started my artistic journey.
