She grew up as the daughter of Mai Song (mother) and her father of mixed Thai and Hmong descent. She was born on March 27, 1988, in Carmichael, California, United States.

Their parents enrolled both Brenda and her brother in taekwondo. Song then did a Barbie commercial before going to college. Both of her parents are Thailand Natives who moved to the United States when the song was not yet brought into this world. This was a pleasant surprise for her.

While Brenda has appeared in numerous Disney movies, such as "Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior," she has also lent her voice to characters in animated films.

She then played the younger version of a waiter and dancer in a short American film.

In 1997, Song bagged her most famous role on Nickelodeon’s 100 Deeds for Eddie McDowd and 7th Heaven. Afterward, she continued her career in youth-oriented movies such as "Like Mike" (2002) and "College Road Trip" (2008).

Brenda Song was born on March 27, 1988, in Carmichael, a suburb of Sacramento, California.

She also gained a recurring role as Tia in the series "Phil of the Future" from 2004 to 2005. Before beginning production on the new series, she had a recurring role as the hip and trendy Tia on "Phil of the Future." She also starred in the top-rated Disney Channel Original Movies "Stuck in the Suburbs," the mystery "Get A Clue" with Lindsay Lohan, and "The Ultimate Christmas Present" with Hallee Hirsh and Spencer Breslin. Her other television credits include guest starring roles on "That's So Raven," "George Lopez," "The Bernie Mac Show," "7th Heaven," "One On One," "The Nightmare Room," "Judging Amy," "Popular," "Once and Again," and as a panelist on "Small Talk." Brenda also had a starring role on the series "100 Deeds For Eddie McDowd." On the big screen, she starred in "Like Mike" opposite Lil' Bow Wow and Jonathan Lipnicki, and appeared in "Leave It To Beaver" and "Santa With Muscles" starring Hulk Hogan. A self-proclaimed "total dork," she loves sampling international cuisine, shopping and studying.

In 2000, she received the "Young Artist Award" for her role in the film "The Ultimate Christmas Present". In 2004, she starred in Jesse McCartney's music video for the song "Good Life" and also appeared in Anneliese van der Pol's music videos for "Over It" and "More than Me." She has also contributed her vocals to several soundtracks of Disney films she appeared in.

Brenda’s paternal grandparents are from the Xiong clan but they changed their name to Song after immigrating to the United States.

She stars as London Tipton, the hotel owner's spoiled daughter, in Disney Channel's new hit sitcom, "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody." Having acted since age six, Brenda is already a familiar face to Disney Channel viewers.

The show follows the life of an independent and fearless 13-year-old named Anne Boonchy. In 2005, Brenda landed a lead role in the series "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody" as Paris, a role she was cast in without auditioning. She is an avid Los Angeles Lakers fan.
