So here's another in-depth, roaster-by-roaster review of this 65-minute disaster. I suppose that is forgivable given their careers. He went in there and purposely bombed. Greg Giraldo had probably his worst performance (by that, I mean least good), Jon Lovitz threw hacky gay jokes everywhere (pot calling the kettle black, if you ask me), Jeff Ross did his usual thing, Susie Essman felt like a cameo, despite having one of the best sets of the roast, Brian Posehn was alright at best, Cloris Leachman just bragged about all the old comics she's "done the dirty with" (thanks, iMDB censors), Norm MacDonald literally read corny jokes off a card set, Jeff Garlin was terrible (he's basically roast poison), Jim Norton was unbearably unfunny and bland, and Gilbert Gottfried, despite having his worst roast set, saved this roast.
Especially Norm, Jeff Garlin, and Jim Norton. His comedy on Americas funniest home videos was about as funny as the guys and girls who do the jungle boat cruises at Disney. She has won eightPrimetime Emmy Awards and one Daytime Emmy Award. I don't get the love for this roast, it's unfunnier than unfunny. People who have seen it and seen norm know that is what makes him awesome.
And yet, I still found plenty of opportunities to laugh.
A lot of the humor hinged on scatology and profanity, as Comedy Central is wont to do, but I laughed at least once for each dais member. Would have liked to have seen Sarah Silverman at the lectern, not taped.
What was most horrific, however, is that the comedians worked from very visible scripts, often reading their jokes. His raunchy standup, not so much.
She presided over the 120th parade, the themebeing "Hats Off to Entertainment", and the 95th Rose Bowl game.

Overrated Is An Understatement
I can't believe I used to have this in my top 5.
Despite being considered the greatest roast of all time by a bunch of nostalgic 40-year-olds, this roast sucks.
And Stamos is also the relentless subject of ridicule from the others getting on stage. James Franco is. Jim Norton, Susie Essman, Jeff Ross, Greg Giraldo and the great Chloris Leachman are just a few of Saget's friendly attackers. As I write this review Saget has just passed and Norm died a few months ago. I am not offended by blue comedy.
I did not care for this.
First off, Bob Saget isn't exactly my kind of comedian.
