Ms. Bahrambeygui was named as one of San Diego’s “40 Under 40,” in 2002, and has been named as one of San Diego’s Super Lawyers consistently since 2008. In the area of non-profits, she serves on the boards of Price Philanthropies Foundation and Price Charities, (Vice Chair and Executive Vice President), IA-100/PAAIA Fund (Executive Committee), Sol Price Center for Social Innovation at the University of Southern California, La Jolla Country Day School, and the Leadership Council for Urban Institute/Brookings Institution – Tax Policy Center in Washington D.C.
She co-founded the law firm, Hosey & Bahrambeygui, LLP, and for over two decades, practiced in complex international business, real estate, employment and health care. Ms. Babrambeygui has been a director of PriceSmart, Inc. since November 2011, having served as chair or member of various committees and as Vice Chair of the board of directors from 2016 to 2017.
She was a co-drafter of the Patient Bill of Rights by the Foundation for Consumer and Taxpayer Rights. Bahrambeygui studied at Columbia University and has degrees from University of California, San Diego and California Western School of Law.

During her tenure at PriceSmart, she grew the international consumer retail company with over 12,000 employees in 13 countries through COVID, digital transformation, the launching of e-commerce, and re-branding. Before joining The Price Group, Ms. Bahrambeygui was a litigator specializing in business, health care, consumer & retail, and real estate industries and a founding partner of Hosey & Bahrambeygui, LLP, a leading boutique civil litigation practice.
She is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court. Bahrambeygui is founder and managing member of the consulting and investment firm of Chestnut, LR, LLC, serves on the boards of Price Smart, Inc., the Board of Trustees for the UC San Diego Foundation and several other non-profit foundations, and is the mother of twin sons.

Ms. Bahrambeygui was Notes and Comments Editor of the Law Review at California Western School of Law. She also received the Westbrook Outstanding Advocacy A ward and the Trustee’s Award for the most laudable achievements in law school as well as placing second in the country in a National Trial Advocacy Competition.
After Law School, Ms.
Bahrambeygui was the recipient of the Phillip J. Sharp National Public Service Award by the American Trial Lawyer’s Association in 1998, and she received two Outstanding Trial Lawyer’s Awards by the San Diego Consumer Trial Lawyers in 1999 and again in 2005. Bahrambeygui has received awards including the Ellis Island Medal of Honor and San Diego’s 40 Under 40.
In addition to Ms. Bahrambeygui's extensive international business, governance and leadership experience, she is the recipient of numerous awards, including The Ellis Island Medal of Honor, Consumer Attorneys' Public Justice Award, and San Diego's 40 Under 40.

She earned her bachelor’s degree from UC San Diego and her law degree from California Western School of Law.

Sherry Bahrambeygui, an attorney, graduated from California Western School of Law and University of California San Diego.
She is married to Patrick Hosey and has twin 16 year-old boys, Liam and Ryan.
Sherry S. Babrambeygui served as Chief Executive Officer of PriceSmart Inc., (NASDAQ: PSMT, $3 .3b market cap) from 2018 to 2023. After undergraduate studies at Columbia University and graduating from the University of California at San Diego, she became a licensed stockbroker and worked for Prudential Securities.
Ms. Bahrambeygui has served on several additional non-profit Boards of Directors, including La Jolla Country Day School. Bahrambeygui has written and lectured extensively before the American Trial Lawyers of America, Consumer Attorneys of California, San Diego County Medical Society, California Medical Association, Allegheny County Trial Lawyer’s Association and several other legal and professional organizations across the nation.
Ms. Bahrambeygui is director and member of the Executive Committee, Nominating/Governance and Real Estate Committees, and she Chairs the Compensation Committee for publically-traded PriceSmart, Inc., a $2.5 billion international consumer retail company. Prior to her tenure as Chief Executive Officer, she served as the President and Managing Member of The Price Group, LLC, a private investment and management company.
Ms. Bahrambeygui was selected among San Diego’s top 40 under 40, has been repeatedly recognized as a “Super Lawyer”and in San Diego Daily Transcript’s Top Attorneys.
