Small Press Flea (SPF) makes its return to the steps of the Brooklyn Public Library's Central Branch at Grand Army Plaza for another beautiful August day with your favorite local publishers and magazines.
This year's SPF promises to provide your end-of-summer beach reads, sweet deals, and cold treats while you fill your totes.
Bring your favorite novel to give, and go home with a new story.
Tanya Bush is a Brooklyn-based writer, editor, and baker. Jackson is an Assistant Professor of English and Creative Writing at Rutgers University-Newark. Morgan earned her MFA from the California College of the Arts and a BFA from the Cooper Union School of Art.
She currently lives and works in Chicago, IL.
Nate Young is a multidisciplinary artist currently working in Chicago, IL. He earned his M.F.A. Reviewed in The NYT, BOMB, Brooklyn Rail, Interview among others. From 2018-2023 she lived between the Sonoran and Mojave Deserts where she organized with the grassroots humanitarian aid organization No More Deaths, as well as several community based initiatives that centered wellness for BIPOC and immigrant communities.
Davis will be performing For the toward, in which he navigates crushing weight embodied by both animate and inanimate forms that alternately threaten and support him.
Originally devised by Matty Davis, Kora Radella, and Will Arbery between 2015 and 2017, Davis has re-imagined For the toward for the present.
The performance will be followed by a conversation between Davis and curator Lumi Tan and a reception.

Brenda Marie Osbey is the author of seven books, including All Souls: Essential Poems (LSUP, 2015). Adjacent is The Gallery, activated by obsessions and artists, and the greenery-filled indoor Garden with a double-sided fireplace and skylight. In 2022, OHP focus cities were expanded from New York City to include New Orleans and Chicago.

Mikaal Sulaiman is a Tony award nominated multi-disciplinary artist who works across film, tv, and theatre.
