Soundarya studied at Ashram Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Velachery, Chennai.
These were high-budget, star-heavy films, mostly featuring her father Rajinikanth. She wasn’t just helping with small projects—she was building something unique. She also runs a school in Chennai that focuses on creative education. The film was lighthearted, colorful, and different from the usual serious tone of Tamil films at that time.
Although Soundarya was not the main producer of Ponniyin Selvan, she was involved in its production through her ongoing contributions to Tamil cinema.
It wasn’t about building an acting career—it was more of a fun moment, a small gift to the audience. Her decision surprised some people, as many expected her to become an actress like her father. Her first marriage was to industrialist Ashwin Ramkumar in 2010, with whom she had a son born in 2015. From graphic designer to film producer and director, her career has blossomed with innovation.
Initially designing title sequences for her father’s films, she later ventured into production and animation.
From this union, she has a son, Ved Krishna, born on May 6, 2015.
On February 11, 2019, she remarried Vishagan Vanangamudi, an actor and entrepreneur who heads Apex Laboratories Pvt. Ltd. Their union was blessed with a second son, Veer Rajinikanth Vanangamudi, born on September 11, 2022. Latha’s role as both a parent and educator helped shape Soundarya’s love for art and design.
Starting with title sequences for her father’s films, she produced “Goa” in 2010 and made her directorial debut with “Kochadaiyaan” in 2014.
Soundarya Rajinikanth, a woman of many talents, began her journey in Chennai. Soundarya was a bright student who enjoyed art, sketching, and design. Her figure measurements are around 34-30-34, giving her a naturally balanced frame.
