Education Journey
- Studied at Sir J.J. School of Art, Mumbai, where he earned a diploma in Fine Arts.
- Trained as a painter and initially worked as an artist before entering theatre.
Early Career in Theatre
- Began his career in Marathi theatre, acting in and directing several experimental plays.
- Co-founded his own theatre group called Aniket.
- Became known for his ability to blend subtle humor with realistic portrayals, which later translated into films.
Film Debut & Breakthrough

He has acted as a lead role in many of the HINDI and Marathi movies. Then after he married SANDHYA GOKHLE after his divorce from 1st wife. X
Together, they have worked on many projects, with Sandhya often writing scripts for his films.
So after he married to a sixteen-year-old SRIDEVI in the movie “SOLVA SAAWAN”. AT last he won the (MAHARASTRA STATE FILM AWARD) for the
movie “DHOOSAR” in the year 2011. The accident occurred when the two cars were waiting for the signal to go green.
