Condition: New. The Autobiography of a Flea (1887) is an anonymously written pornographic novel. Doing my New Order book as I am now, I have come to realise that in the early days we did achieve a hell of a lot together, we started New Order from nothing and made it successful against all the odds. Using his authority, he instructs Bella to meet him the following afternoon in the sacristy, where he informs her that unless she agrees to be seduced by him and his fellow men of the cloth, he will reveal the secret of her tryst with Charlie.

2009’s How Not To Run A Club  (Hooky’s account of the Hacienda), and 2013’s Unknown Pleasures (documenting his time in Joy Division). It’s a real pity that it’s ended like this. "I enjoyed reading about Bernard’s early life in Salford.

Bella is an orphan girl who lives with her uncle and aunt. However Bernard only ever seems to remember the things that suit his purpose. We all have different memories and we all remember things differently. The Autobiography of a Flea is a controversial story that meets time-honored taboos head on, depicting religious corruption, incest, and an orgy involving nineteen lustful priests.

That night, she has her first sexual experience, only to be interrupted by Father Ambrose, who was watching the pair from the shadows. Narrated throughout by a lowly parasite, the story provides a flea's-eye-view on the hidden nature of human society. Nervous at first, Bella reads the note and finds herself compelled by its mystery-Charlie requests to meet her at night in the local gardens.

Bernard Sumner autobiography “Chapter And Verse (New Order, Joy Division And Me)” due out in September

New Order singer Bernard Sumner has confirmed details of his upcoming autobiography.

It had been announced in back in June 2013 that Sumner had signed a deal to publish his memoirs, and Chapter And Verse (New Order, Joy Division And Me) will be published by Transworld on September 25 of this year.

[pullquote]Chapter and Verse includes a vivid and illuminating account of Bernard’s Salford childhood, the early days of Joy Division, the band’s enormous critical and popular success, and the subsequent tragic death of Ian Curtis. Indeed, personal prejudices aside, as we have both been a huge part of each other’s lives for some forty odd years and it was nice to hear more about his childhood…"

"When we arrive at the New Order section, this is where, in his own words Bernard “unleashes the gates of hell.” This section jumps about in time, at one point by some six years, but some of the stories shocked even me…"

"I found Bernard often very contradictory and his narration towards me is cruel and spiteful.
