List of The Amazing Race Canada contestants
Based on the global Amazing Race franchise, The Amazing Race Canada is a thrilling Canadian adventure reality game show that challenges teams to race across the country through intense tasks, travel, and strategy.
Beyond the show, both have stable careers—Jesse in human resources and Jonathon in nonprofit law—which also contribute to their income and financial stability.
Where is their Hometown?
The duo hails from two different provinces in Canada:
- Jesse Harink comes from Sherwood Park, Alberta, which is known for its family-friendly neighborhoods and proximity to Edmonton.
- Jonathon Braun is originally from Woodlawn, Ontario, a quieter rural area that offers a close-knit community vibe.
Their shared background of growing up in smaller towns instilled in them a strong sense of community, humility, and resilience.
His work likely focuses on helping vulnerable populations and promoting equality through legal means.
These diverse professional backgrounds allowed them to approach challenges from both analytical and human-centered perspectives during their time on the show.

Frustrated that this show takes away from skill.
I have liked both the american and canadian amazing race shows because winners were decided on skill, not alliances and luck.
It almost made the season unbearable to watch. The teams may choose to walk between these locations, or they may take commercial and chartered aircraft, boats, trains, taxis, buses, and vehicles rented by the competition.
Each leg is completed with a twelve-hour pit stop, during which teams can rest and those that come last are gradually eliminated until only three teams are left.
The Amazing Race Canada Season 11, created and aired by CTV, officially premiered on July 8, 2025, with episodes streaming the next day on @CraveCanada. Now in its eleventh season, the show continues to captivate audiences with new teams, fresh locations, and high-stakes competition.
We witnessed some incredible compatibility, understanding, and coordination between the pairs as recently as the previous show aired.
1 to 3 seasons should have been enough.
Running around the world with their heads cut off is boring.
What can be learned? It was disappointing to see that two teams were able to choose two other teams to have to wait because of a penalty (my term). Their journey was marked by teamwork, humor, and a powerful sense of purpose. Blair is known as “Superfan Magoo” at Edmonton Oilers games.
