The band itself was carefully constructed, and made up of experienced musicians of the time, including Steve "The Colonel" Cropper, Donald "Duck" Dunn, Matt "Guitar" Murphy, "Blue" Lou Marini, Tom "Bones" Malone, and Alan "Mr. Actually, saved by a gray-haired janitor everybody called Curtis.

John's big break came later that same year when he joined NBC's groundbreaking TV series Saturday Night Live. Several subsequent albums followed. The main task of the writers was to create a stage show based on a new storyline as complications with rights ownership meant the original movie script could not be adapted for the stage. He also developed an interest in comedy and acting while in high school, and appeared in the high school variety show and numerous plays, including a four-person drama which won third place in state competition. Fiddle is the name of a violin when played in tradional music while violin is used in classical or pop music.

Alton had to work in the cotton fields as soon as he was five years old. The duo were dressed in matching black suits, black pencil ties, black trilby hats and black sunglasses. Alton was only nine years old when he wrote his first song with his mother's help ("Bound For the Shore" publi� par Athens Music Co.).

The Pan-American train of the L & N (Louisville and Nashville) Railroad Company crossed the village.

In an interview at the time with the Eugene Register-Guard, he said:
"I was growing sick of rock and roll, it was starting to bore me … and I hated disco, so I needed some place to go. He also learned to sing and read the traditional shape-note ¹ gospel music from his mother Mary (known as "Aunt Molly") and his well-loved uncle Will Williams who wrote hymns and taught sacred songs.

In 1978, guitarist Arlen Roth was performing on SNL with Art Garfunkel, who was that week's host of the show. The two brothers worked together again with a first appearance on TV-Station KPRC in Houston, they also gave a last show at the Roosevelt Lounge in Detroit. Henry Glover, afro-american producer for the King label, suggested the riff from "Boarding House Blues" that he had composed for Lucky Millinder.

Wayne played in the choke style with strong blues influences.

Wayne Catania is an established and respected musician (AFM), actor, and creative writer with a career spanning four decades. Aykroyd and Belushi filled a jukebox with songs from Sam & Dave, punk band The Viletones and others.

They were the main pioneers in a transition from old-time hillbilly to later country music. This performance led to a recording contract with Columbia Records. "Gimme Some Lovin'" was a Top 40 hit and the band toured to promote the film.
