Satyen Kappu (1931 – 27 October 2007), also credited as Satyendra Kapoor, was an Indian character actor in Bollywood films.
Some of his Hindi films are ‘Sapno Ka Saudagar’ (1968), ‘Chhoti Bahu’ (1971), ‘Seeta Aur Geeta’ (1972), ‘Do Gaz Zameen Ke Neeche’ (1972), ‘Yaadon Ki Baaraat’ (1973), ‘Benaam’ (1974), ‘Kala Sona’ (1975), ‘Don’ (1978), ‘The Burning Train’ (1980), ‘Main Aur Mera Haathi’ (1981), ‘Naseeb Apna Apna’ (1986), and ‘Raja Bhaiya’ (2003).
He played the role of Amitabh Bachchan‘s father in the Bollywood film, ‘Deewaar’ (1975).
He dubbed for the main villain’s voice in ‘Gehri Chaal’ (1973) and for Mohammed Al Fardin’s dialogues in ‘Subah-O-Shaam’ (1972).

He is best known for playing the role of Ramlal in the iconic Bollywood film, ‘Sholay’ (1975).
