Biography
Scindia was born in 1975. Her recent publications include “India and its nationhood: Grassroots nationhood as conceptual frames” (Nations and Nationalism, 2021) and a co-authored chapter titled “Analyzing the role of Tax incentives for donations to non-profits” (Routledge Handbook of Taxation and Philanthropy, 2021).

Priyadarshini Singh
Priyadarshini was a Research Fellow at the State Capacity Initiative.
Her current projects include, a study of elementary education reform in India from the 1975 for the Research in Improving Systems of Education (RISE) program at the University of Pennsylvania. She explores cultural narratives through creative mediums, combining her love for language with visual storytelling and audio content creation. She was educated at Fort Convent School, Mumbai and thereafter at Sophia College for Women, Mumbai.[4] In December 1994, she married Jyotiraditya Scindia, a minister in the Indian government and member of parliament from Madhya Pradesh.[5] The couple have one son, Mahaaryaman Scindia and one daughter, Ananya Scindia.[6]
Scindia appeared in Verve's "Best dressed - 2008" hall of fame list.[7] In 2012, she was included in the "India's 50 Most Beautiful Women" list by Femina.[8]
She is involved in the restoration of Jai Vilas Mahal, Usha Kiran Palace, and formulating projects for children.[9] According to her, "living in a palace is a full time job."[10]

Priyadarshini Raje Scindia (née Gaekwad; born 16 February 1975) is married to the Minister of Civil AviationJyotiraditya Scindia.
