He organizes concert in different educational institutes where he collects old books and stationeries from the students and redistributes it to war struck, orphans and street children. but da' loadsheddin' [powercut] has been minimized to 12 hrz a day from 16 hrz before... Later Nirnaya decided to promote nationality through hip-hop and rap songs and thus released his solo album “Ma Nepali”.
Some of the biggest new names in the Nepali music industry are rappers, and almost every few months a new rap battle reality show seems to crop up, producing more rappers.
But two decades ago, this wasn’t the case. still due to the tharuht bandh, petrol shortage in da' city.... In the mean time Rinchin also joined the team.
His album proved to be a great hit.
“My song ‘Hamro Gaule Jiwan’ attempted to highlight how the huge scale of migration of people from Nepal’s villages to the cities is making Nepalis forget our rural lifestyle,” says Shrestha. It was in such a social reality that Nirnaya Shrestha, aka NSK, launched his first hip hop album in Kathmandu. Nirnaya is an altruist.
It also included English songs like “For u all” and “The game must go on”. He also started incorporating traditional Nepali musical instruments like Dhime and Damphu in his songs. He also bagged president of frequency award in eighth standard. Off course, he’s Nirnaya Shrestha AKA Nirnaya da NSK. He is the naughty soul kid of Nepali music without whom hip-hop or Rap music can’t even be imagined.
I am glad that I have been able to give this campaign a continuity to this day.”
As part of ‘Nirnaya-NSK Nepal Tour for Education’, Shrestha holds concerts at schools in various parts of the country and seeks donations of stationery and study materials, which are then distributed for free to students in rural parts of the country. Nirnaya joined school in America but carried on guitar classes.

As soon as his father completed his PhD, Nirnaya came back to his land and joined St. Xavier School.
He had to take tuitions for basic Nepali alphabet. With a view to introduce rap songs among Nepali listeners, he joined image fm in 1999 and started hosting a program name “Bring the house down”. Later after 5 months, he started recording an album for the same name with his group, “Nirnaya and Da’ all stars”.
Since, one could express all his life in a single song easily and could connect with the listeners; he was strongly influenced by it so he learned it.
